DAILY CARE
We all know that we like to eat, drink, and have fun on our sofas. Movie nights, game nights, and more cause risk for stains. However, we use fabrics that can be easily cleaned—even the most stubborn of stains. Simply use a damp or, if necessary, detergent sponge to soak up and wipe off the stain. The sooner you wipe it off, the quicker the stain can be removed. Do your best to not let whatever spilled dry into the sofa for easier clean up care.
MAINTENANCE CLEANING
It is normal for a fine layer of dust, invisible to the eye, to build up on the fibers of the furniture—even with the most careful cleaning. We recommend cleaning the furniture with a damp upholstery cleaner every six months to a year depending on how often the sofa is used. This is particularly important for light-coloured sofas, which can develop a negative stain after rubbing with detergent.
RENEWAL
We haven't had to reupholster any of our sofas in the last thirteen years, but when the time comes, we'll be happy to help. If you didn't buy it in Hungary, visit a master upholsterer near where you live, and be sure to connect us so we can provide you with the necessary pattern and instructions.
Our experience so far is that you may need to reupholster the foam on the sofa seating when it is about 20-25 years old. To do this, ask your local upholsterer to help you, who can refurbish your furniture using the old materials to reduce waste.
